Before the internet, Europe had Teletext and Minitel, early digital networks that delivered news, TV guides, sports, and interactive services directly to televisions.

I look at how Teletext used hidden signals in analog TV broadcasts to provide on-demand pages and colorful graphics. We also dive into France's Minitel, a telephone-based network known for interactive services and its famous 3615 codes.

We show how these systems shaped media consumption, inspired early digital art, and influenced how Europeans accessed information before the web.
