Digitweaks was growing and getting close to basic monetization, so it was not failing but I realized something important. Continuity matters. When a channel jumps from digital marketing to tech history to videography, it becomes difficult for viewers and for YouTube to understand what the channel is really about. In this video, I explain why mixing very different topics can hurt retention, how YouTube categorizes and recommends content, and why I had to choose between monetizing quickly with a messy channel or starting almost from scratch with a clearer structure. The three new channels now focus on clearly defined themes.
